Kitemare-Surf & Kite Shop is situated on the village green, over looking the sea. A perfect place for a surfing and kitesurfing shop, from inside the shop you can see it all happening from the window!

Kitemare sells everything you need to make the most of Westward Ho! beach including a wide selection of wetsuits, surfboards, bodyboards, kitesurfing harnesses, kites and boards. You can find kids kites, Westward Ho! Boardriders clothing and lots of accessories. An aladin's cave of water sports equipment in the middle of the village.

You can also learn to surf from here, hire wetsuits, surfboards, body boards, SUP’s and even kites too.

The shop is owned and ran by Peter,  Fran and little Bob with the help of Daniel The Spaniel and Shambles! If you want any advise on surfing or kitesurfing at Westward Ho! this is the first place to head.

Getting into the sea is a must while at Westward Ho! One way of doing this is to hire the equipment and give it a go. Kitemare-Surf & Kite Shop offer changing facilities to make it easy, you can leave your clothes safely too. We give you a safety briefing and only allow hiring of our equipment if the conditions are fully safe. Once you finish your time in the water, we also have a coffee machine here, awesome hot chocolate to warm up with.

Please note we do not allow surf hire at high water due to waves pushing you up the ridge.
