Like the once "Westward Ho! Hotel" then named the"Royal Hotel" and eventually the "Golden Bay Hotel" this area has always provided quality accommodation throughout the ages.

Braddicks Holiday Centre sits upon the dramatic cliffs on the edge of Westward Ho! A large self catering site offering luxury caravans, villas plus some specialist dog friendly or mobility needs accommodation too. Braddicks is a short stroll from the village centre along the sea front. Torridge Council are forward thinking, we have no camping/camper van sites in Westward Ho! so they allow over night parking in the main car park.
You can park your camper anywhere in the main car park, within the centre of the village, for only £5 per night. If you go to the end near the Park, as shown in the photo, it's really quiet while still being in the middle of the village. Perfect for access to all village facilities plus cheap too.
Less than 250 m to the sea front, Nelson House offers a large comfortable space for groups of 2-6 (8 by arrangement) in the village centre. It's close to all amenities & with off street parking for up to 3 vehicles. 3 bedrooms, 2 private bathrooms & large well equipped private guest sitting room. Well reviewed & experienced host. Westward Ho! doesn't have any camp sites left anymore. We have listed the nearest sites that are in walking distance for a fully fit Marine or just a short drive away.
After a day at Westward Ho! retreat back to Broad Park Camping which is less than a 10 minute drive away. Nestled in the countryside, in an unspoiled, tranquil location we are a small laid back campsite surrounded by nature, rolling hills and far reaching views.
Relax under a sky full of stars, which on a clear night is breath taking, toasting marshmallows over a fire which you can hire, in the company of our alpacas, pygmy goats and chickens.
We have hot showers, toilets and an amenities room equipped with a washing up area, seating, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer and a selection of snacks.Dogs are welcome (on leads)
