Cherry Circus comprises of Peter Wormington on guitar and Char Juniper on vocals.
They attended Westward Ho's Got Talent to audition, unfortunately the first week, we had cancelled half way through due to really bad showers that day. The sun came out, as they were at the Sunset Festival, the PA system was still set up, they took to the stage anyway....AMAZING performance from this young couple, made a bad day really good and memories for a lot of people.
We then used Cherry Circus for several of the paid slots in the Sunset Festivals, they did some of our music Wednesdays around the village and also appeared at the Final Sunset.
Westward Ho! loves Peter and Char, we watched them develop over the Summer, watched the confidence grow, every performance given was better than the last even though their first was amazing!
Cherry Circus did come and audition for WH'sGT, as you would expect got into the finals easily. They did win one of the judges favourite awards, from Alan Day. Peter and Char light up a room, add a buzz to the village green and just implant a smile right on the face. They can be privately hired for your pub/venue or for your party or wedding. Prices for 2 x 45 minute sets is £120 for pubs/clubs/private parties and £200 for a wedding reception (longer set).
